JUAN MANUEL FERNÁNDEZ-PUJOL CABRERA

Es gaditano, nacido y criado en el Casco Histórico, en concreto en su Plaza de Candelaria.

Aparejador de profesión desde 1961 por la Escuela Técnica de Madrid. Vinculado al Estudio de Arquitectura “Candelaria”, especializado en el Patrimonio Histórico-Artístico Arquitectónico.

Catedrático de Dibujo de la Escuela de Artes Aplicadas y Oficios Artísticos de Cádiz desde 1975. Innovador en la metodología pedagógica y autor de los Apuntes de Geometría Descriptiva y Materiales. 

Es Académico de número de la Real Academia Provincial de Bellas Artes de Cádiz desde 1992. Miembro del Ateneo Literario, Artístico y Científico Gaditano desde 1991.

Amante de la fotografía. Espíritu de poeta en sus cuentos y ensayos. Ameno conferenciante sobre técnicas de apuntes, acuarelas, luz, color…

Exposiciones de dibujos y acuarelas en la Escuela de Artes y Oficios y en el Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Cádiz…

En el 2003 el Colegio Oficial de Aparejadores y Arquitectos Técnicos de Cádiz publicó el libro “Acuarelas para el Recuerdo” que recoge veintiséis láminas de acuarelas de viajes, con sus sentidos  y poéticos comentarios.

Colección “Las Plazas de Cádiz”, un conjunto de apuntes, acuarelas, detalles, planitos… de las fachadas de las plazas, como legado a su querida ciudad.

Un enamorado de su Cádiz del alma y de su maravilloso Patrimonio Arquitectónico, que ha plasmado para la eternidad, con su genial maestría como dibujante y acuarelista.

He is from Cádiz, born and raised in the Historic District, and specifically in its Plaza de Candelaria. Surveyor by profession since 1961 by the Technical School of Madrid. Linked to the "Candelaria" Architecture Studio, specialized in the Architectural Historical-Artistic Heritage. Professor of Drawing at the School of Applied Arts and Artistic Crafts of Cadiz since 1975. Innovator in pedagogical methodology and author of the Notes on Descriptive Geometry and Materials. He has been a member of the Royal Provincial Academy of Fine Arts of Cádiz since 1992. Member of the Cadiz Literary, Artistic and Scientific Athenaeum since 1991. Photography lover. Spirit of a poet in his stories and essays. Entertaining lecturer on techniques of notes, watercolors, light, color... Exhibitions of drawings and watercolors at the School of Arts and Crafts and at the Official College of Architects of Cádiz… In 2003 the Official College of Quantity Surveyors and Technical Architects of Cadiz published the book "Watercolors for Remembrance" which includes twenty-six sheets of watercolors of travel, with their meanings and poetic comments. “Las Plazas de Cádiz” Collection, a set of notes, watercolours, details, plans… of the façades of the plazas, as a legacy to his beloved city. A lover of his Cádiz of the soul and its wonderful Architectural Heritage, which he has captured for eternity, with his brilliant mastery as a draftsman and watercolourist.
